Aims
The aims of the Club Championship are as follows:
* To promote participation, team spirit and competition in multi-sport events.
* To reward consistency, excellence and commitment.
* To promote Belper 10:20 and encourage new membership.
Trophies
Prizes will be awarded for 1st , 2nd and 3rd place for each gender.
Club Championship Calendar
The Club Championship runs from the date of the Club Christmas Curry, to the date of the following years Christmas Club Curry (to enable presentations at the event)

- Cross Country (representing Belper 10:20) - All races – 15 points down to 1
- Holly bush fun run – January 1st - 15 points down to 1
- Spring Derby Cycle Sportive – April 14th – 10 points down to 1
- Ashbourne Tri – May 12th – 15 points down to 1
- Outlaw Half – May 19th - 15 points down to 1
- Darley Moor Duathlon – May 26th - 15 points down to 1
- Aquasphere Epic Lakes Swim – Ullswater(All events) 1st June - 15 points down to 1
- Hairy Helmet – June 9th - 10 points(+5 for fancy dress)
- Abersoch Triathlon (Sprint) – June 22nd - 15 points down to 1
- Abersoch Triathlon (Standard) – June 22nd – 15 points down to 1
- National Aquathlon Champs – Holme Pierrepont – July 27th - 10 points down to 1
- Outlaw Full – July 28th - 15 points down to 1
- Blithfield Triathlon (Sprint or Standard) – August 18th - 15 points down to 1
- Triathlon Club Relays – Holme Pierrepont – August 31st – 15 points
- Derby Triathlon – September 15th - 15 points down to 1
- Dovedale Dash – October 6th - 10 points down to 1
- Christmas Pudding Run – November 17th – 10 points down to 1
- Any full distance (maximum up to 2)
15 points (2/3 points for Aquabike/Aquathlon) - Any half distance not listed (maximum up to 2) 10 points (2/3 points for Aquabike/Aquathlon)
Any member who marshals or volunteers in an official capacity (feed station etc) at any of the above events will automatically receive 5 points.
Awarding of points
* Points in the Championship are awarded according to finishing positions of Belper 10:20 members in relation to each other in each championship race.
* The first club member of each gender in a race will receive 15 or 10 points, the second placed member of each gender will receive 14/9 points, 13/8 points for 3rd place, 12/7 for fourth, 11/6 for fifth etc. Once down to 1 point all remaining members will receive 1 point. Details of maximum points for each race are included next to the event name.
* For races where official results are not always available (including the National relays and ‘Hairy’ events), points will be awarded for participation rather than rankings.
* Relay teams (excluding the National relays and ‘Hairy’ events) who participate in the events below will receive the number of points below of the last individual athlete, divided by the number of people in the team.
* Half distance/ full distance races not listed achieve a standard 10 points/15 points respectively. 2/3 of the points will be granted for aquabike or aquathlon.
* Any representation for age-group races achieves 5 points.
* Only 1 set of allocated points per listed event.
Eligibility
Members must have entered the event in their own name, and must appear in the official results. Club kit is compulsory for Cross Country events and encouraged for other events. Emma Whysall and Chris Holmes (Club Champ Managers) have the discretion to award points where a member has justifiable grounds to appeal against the rules. (e.g. if missed out of the official results.)
The winners will be announced at the Christmas Curry in December. If you want to be included then please let Emma or Chris know the events that you attended (especially Half & Full distance events not listed above) on the club Facebook page or by email: belpertentwenty@gmail.com.
